At AIDS Action, we welcome opportunities to participate in media coverage of our work and of HIV/AIDS more broadly. Thirty years into the epidemic, it is more important than ever to provide timely, accurate, and compassionate coverage of people at risk for and already living with HIV/AIDS. Without broad public awareness of HIV/AIDS, we could continue to see a decline in interest in this life-threatening disease, even as 50,000+ people are newly infected in the United States each year.
Reporters, bloggers, and other members of the media, please route all requests for comment or information through our Communications Department. We’ll make every effort to respond in advance of your deadline, and connect you with the most accurate information and relevant sources for your project.
