MassHealth is providing free transportation to COVID-19 vaccine appointments for individuals with any type of MassHealth coverage or the Health Safety Net.

Individuals with MassHealth or the Health Safety Net can call their health plan or MassHealth directly to request free transportation at (800) 841-2900.

When you call to request transportation, you will need the following information: your MassHealth ID number; the location of your vaccine appointment; the date and time of your vaccine appointment; where you want to be picked up by the driver; a phone number and/or email address where the driver can reach you.

After you request transportation and get a “PT-1 number,” wait one day and call your local transportation broker to schedule your trip. A list of contact information for the transportation brokers is available on page 2 of this FAQ page.

MassHealth members enrolled in a Senior Care Options or One Care plan or in a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) can contact their health plan or PACE provider to request transportation help.
