The Frank’s Friends Initiative is a program that assists Massachusetts medical marijuana patients that have documented verified financial hardship and a diagnosis of HIV/AIDS by providing 50% off of products and services for those who qualify at participating marijuana dispensaries and certifying healthcare providers.
Patients must bring their valid form of identification and valid Medical Use of Marijuana Program ID card. Qualifying patients must bring documentation proving HIV/AIDS diagnosis and documentation for verified financial hardship; more information on specific documents to bring is available at this link.
Sira Naturals in Somerville, Verilife in Wareham, Rise in Amherst, and Happy Valley in Gloucester are the MTCs currently partnered with the Frank’s Friends Initiative. Canna Care Docs, MedWell Health, and Canna~Wise are participating healthcare providers providing the Frank’s Friends discount on medical marijuana certifications and renewals via telemedicine or in person in 18 municipalities.
